Apple iPhone 4 having antenna issues?

According to Apple, the iPhone 4 has been having “antenna issues”. The news and comments regarding this issue across the internet and blog is that the display on the iPhone will display full bars, then instantly go down to none.

Apple has stated that the issue is not the signal actually being lost, but the iPhone never having full connection bars in the first place.  They say its caused due to gripping the phone the wrong way. Apple does not see how fixing this issue will help the matter, since the phone never displays the connection bars correctly anyways.

Apple is sticking with there original comment that the iPhone 4G “has the best antenna we have ever shipped”. But it will receive a firmware upgrade soon to update the Android OS showing connection bars, that it shouldnt be.

Apple iPhone becoming available on Verizon Wireless

I thought this was pretty interesting so I figured I would write a little article about it. Verizon Wireless stated on June 29, 2010 that they will eventually be offering the Apple iPhone on the Verizon Wireless network sometime in January 2011.

The iPhone has been a rival to Verizon since early 2007. We all know that the iPhone was an exclusive item to AT&T customers only but I always had that feeling that Apple would eventually give into a deal they couldnt pass up from Verizon Wireless. I am not sure how this will affect the Droid sales, or if it will. Only time will tell what affects this will have on the PDA/Cell phone industry.

Everyone stay tuned. I will be updating this post once I get more information on the iPhone becoming available with Verizon Wireless.
